I am running ANSYS on batch mode to simulate a composite lamina (one

layer) with some pattern is cut through, like 4 circular holes.

I would like to do this analysis for different angle of fibers, so I

used SHELL 99 and applied *DO and *ENDDO. But after reading the output

with Matlab I perceive some errors occur in not the first iteration

but all the single ones after the first.

I use ABAQUS 6.8-1 on REDHAT 64-bit which is recent version. My server has two quad-core processors. Even though I select 8 cpus to run the model I made, only two or three cpus are work, not 8 cpus. Why does it happen? Does anybody know about this?

My model is 2-D and has 1000 eight-node elements.

has someone experience with modelling soils in Abaqus? I am trying to model load test on board pile, some errors apear, like so many attempts made for this increment...too large fixed time, etc. I am pleased to share .inp file of analysis.

i have to make a 2d model of a HP 12 *74 pile having a I section. the pile is 30 feet long.... can anyone suggest me how should i start???? or else can any suggest me where i should look for a help to start off...

I search a ansys tutorial to simulate the fragmentation of a solid body in interaction with explisive (ex pipe bomb, hand grenade...). If someone can help me! I use ansys v11.
