Who should apply: The school is aimed at graduate students, postdocs, and early-career researchers working at the interface of mechanics, engineering, and biology. Admission is selective and rolling — applications are reviewed as they arrive, and places are offered as suitable candidates are identified. October 16, 2026 is a soft deadline, after which applications may not receive full consideration, so early application is encouraged.
There is no registration fee. Travel, accommodation, and meals are at each participant's own expense.
Support: A limited number of international (non-Chinese national) participants are eligible for lodging reimbursement, with eligibility determined at admission.
