Colloids in polymer systems: Numerical studies and simulations
A post-Doc position is available on a project on Ensemble Monte Carlo simulations of graphene for power electronics applications for studying the effect of boundary scattering of charge carriers in graphene nanoribbons. The project is sponsored by the Office of Naval Research- global (ONR) - Department of Defense (DOD)- U.S. Navy.
PostDoc (for 6 years, to fill this year)
Requirements: PhD in (Computational) Mechanics, Biomedical Engineering or a related field; the candidate should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, a strong academic and publication record, and the abillity to work independently.
Activities: To teach two autonomous classes per year (Mechanics for Biomedical Engineers, Computational Biomechanics); research to be performed on an international level within the field of "Cardiovascular Solid Mechanics"; to be interested in a habilitation.
