Dear friends,

I am quite new in modeling concrete in ABAQUS. I wish to model a connection made of concrete under cyclic loads. Could anyone give me a hand and refer me to a basic work developed in this field.

Thanks

How to design ,correlate and document the finite element analsyis into experimental data

Submitted by durgamadhaba on
Dear Sir,

I
am Durgamadhaba Tripathy need help in modeling and simulate in ansys
APDL. My work is small punch test.My material is 2.25Cr-1Mo steel
punched by AISI D2 Steel. If you don't mind I can attach the respective .iges files. My problem is to analysis multiple bodies with different sets of poissions ratio and elastic modulus.

Again I am having
doubt on how to simulate the FEM data with that of actual experimental
ones. is it possible to get the data points so that i can plot against

ANSYS-APPLYING HEAT FLUX

Submitted by Houman Alipoor on

Hi .,,I applied heat flux in my model(mechanical APDL-ANSYS) but ANSYS calculate HEATFLUX for whole period of time..It MEANS AS I SELECT HIGHER TIME STEPS THE RESULTANT NODAL TEMPRATURES ARE HIGHER(INSTEAD OF LOWER TEMPRATURES AS A RESULT OF COOLING)..CAN anyone help me with applying heat flux for a short period of time(0.2 second) in ANSYS.I would be highly appreciated for your kind support.

recommended job sites

Submitted by wallstedt on

Does anyone know of an employment website that caters to scientists? All the sites I have tried (Dice, ZipRecruiter, TechCareers, JobFox, Monster.com etc.) have been a disappointment.  They send me tons of spam about jobs in sales (or other vague categories) with "unlimited earnings potential", and for only $99 they'll teach me how to convert my resume into ASCII format!
