Post-doc position at Northwestern - Mechanics and Energy Lab

The Mechanics and Energy Laboratory within the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department at Northwestern University, directed by Prof. Alessandro F. Rotta Loria, is looking to hire a post-doctoral researcher. The selected post-doctoral researcher will develop a project on the multiphysical behavior of geomaterials subjected to direct current electric fields through experimental investigations and theoretical analyses.

Experimental Micromechanics for Geomaterials

A joint workshop of the ISSMGE TC101-TC105: Experimental
Micromechanics for Geomaterials
will be held on 23rd-24th May
2013 at The University of Hong Kong.

Abstracts are now invited, until the 1st October 2012. They should
be 200-300 words in length, written in English, and show relevance
to the theme of the workshop. Abstracts should be sent to Ms Bridget
