A position as a post-doctoral research associate is available in the Innovative and Smart Infrastructure Group (ISIG) at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, Tennessee. This post-doc will work with Dr. Wierschem on a research project related to vibration isolation. This post-doc position is expected to begin as soon as January 2021; however, later start dates will be considered.

Highly motivated applicants with prior experience in robotics, control and/or machine learning and strong programming skills and mathematical background are encouraged to apply. A position as a Post-doc in the Innovative and Smart Infrastructure Group (ISIG) at the University of Tennessee working with Dr. Wierschem is available starting in Fall 2020. This position is available to US Citizens only. This post-doc will be involved in a research project on vibration isolation. The ideal candidate will have experience in structural dynamics with a PhD in Civil, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering or a related field.
