Fundamentals of Fracture - Symposium at DPG2013
Dear colleagues,
We are organizing a symposium titled "Fundamentals of Fracture" at the 2013 Spring Meeting of the German Physical Society, taking place in Regensburg, Germany.
The aim of this international symposium is to bring together specialists from the fields of solid state physics, materials science, continuum mechanics, statistical physics and mathematics to discuss the latest scientific developments related to fundamental mechanisms and physics of fracture.
ASME IDETC 2013 biomechanics symposium at MSNDC conference
Dear colleagues,
The 2013 ASME multibody systems and nonlinear dynamics conference (MSNDC) to be held Aug 4-7 in Portland, Oregon will host a special symposium on biomechanics. John McPhee, Darryl Thelen and I are organizing this symposium on biomechanics (MSNDC-12), and we hope that you will consider submitting your work for presentation and publication in the ASME conference proceedings.
