Read the new themed issue for Géotechnique Letters: "Geomechanics across the scales"

This Special Issue of the International Journal of Solids and Structures includes sixteen articles presented at the international symposium: Mechanics of Liquid and Solid Foams. The symposium was organized under the auspices of the International Union of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics (http://www.iutam.net) and was held at the University of Texas at Austin in May 8-13, 2011. The papers deal with various aspects of mechanical behavior of cellular materials and foams in particular, and represent the state of the art in the field.

The special issue on "Computational and Theoretical Materiomics: Properties of Biological and de novo Bioinspired Materials" has now been published. A list of papers is included below. Recently published, this special issue of the Journal of the Mechanical Behavior of Biomedical Materials, dedicated to ‘Nanoindentation of Biological Materials' provides a snapshot of the novel uses on nanoindentation technology that is now readily available to researchers and expands the scope of existing techniques to optimize methods for biological tissues and related biomaterials.
