LS-DYNA: How to output only specific time interval of D3PLOT in explicit analysis (crash)
I am using LS-DYNA for automotive crash simulation.
I have a need to look into great detail at a specific time interval of a simulation animation.
I need to output the D3PLOT at 0.1 milisecond per plot from certain time intervial, example termination time of simulation 100 milisecond, now for some reason I want to output D3PLOT with DT=0.1milisecond during time 70 milisecond to 75milisecond only (just an arbitrarily example) and still be able to view it by directly opening the main d3plot file in post-processing software like Animator.

I'm trying to simulate a picture frame shear test using ABAQUS and I have landed up with some problems for which I haven't been able to find any solution from almost a week. Any help would be much appreciated!
So, here's the problem:
I have a fabric sheet of area 140mm x 140mm. The BC are as shown in the file bc.png.The bottom left corner is fixed and a displacement of UX = 40mm and UY = 40mm is applied on the top right corner node.

I'm trying to perform frequency
response of a simple model (say a rectangular shell) in abaqus.
The idea is to apply step-function load
and do dynamic analysis, then apply fft to the velocity response to define the
frequency response. Mathematically, if one applies impulse load to a
system, the response of the system will contain all frequencies.
Since the derivative of the step-function is the impulse function,
practically people apply a step-function load and then perform fft on
velocity (the derivation of the displacement).

Co-simulation Engine Mapping search failures in Abaqus
can anyone guide me what is co-simulation engine mapping search failures in abaqus?? as i get this error while trying running co-simulation between AbaqusCFD and AbaqusStandard.
i have created CAE Model with single fin (mounted on tube) and tube as a single part and created partion wall along the edge of fin, Created CFD Model with fluid, assigned structured mesh.
Even file pre-processor completes successfully but it aborts showing "co-simulation engine mapping search failures in abaqus"
