Integral point
Hi friends;
what's different between Integral point and Node in Ansys, and what's "Node List" in ansys, List of Integral point or Node?
please help me.

Purdue Composites Manufacturing & Simulation Center is looking for outstanding candidates to fill multiple faculty positions at the level of Full, Associate and Assitant Professor in composites manufacturing & simulation. Please check https://cdmhub.org/explore/newsletter for mroe details.
Dear iMechanica Community,
I'd like to ask for advice on modelling reflection and transmission coefficients when two bars with different cross-sectional areas contact each other and are exposed to pulse loading.
I have modelled this process in Abaqus/Explicit as a two-dimensional simulation. The investigation was conveniently done as a parametric study, defining the lateral dimension as parameter. Both bars are slim (length 2 m, diameter 2 cm) and elastic.
The last two parts of the series are at:

I have openings for two post-doc positions in my new research group at the Institute of Mechanical Engineering at the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) in Lausanne, Switzerland, where I will be moving later this year. The target start date is January 1st, 2018.
Dear Colleagues,
We invite you to submit an abstract to "Symposium VI-B: Energy Materials" at the 54rd Annual Technical Meeting of the Society of Engineering Science: SES2017. More information on the symposium can be found at this link or at the bottom of this message.
We have a new opening for a Post-doctoral researcher starting immediately in the Laboratory for Advanced Materials and Bioinspiration at McGill University, Montreal. http://barthelat-lab.mcgill.ca/
Date / Time: Wednesday, May 10, 2017 / 1:30 pm - 4:30 pm
Location: Central London, UK
Fee: Free-to-attend. Pre-registration is required as places are limited
Who should attend
Hi everyone,
I am working on a new material, and I am trying to find the exact load ( right pressure load) that I need to apply on the tope surface of the material with fixed boundary conditions in the bottom to find the right mechanical properties like ( modules of elasticity, reduced modules, hardness and toughn). I'm doing the simulation on Abaqus first and compare them with experiments in my laboratory. So, how can I measure the right load that should apply it?
Thanks,
Brown Engineering is recruiting exceptionally talented researchers who have received their Ph.D. degree in engineering, or an engineering-related discipline, after July 2015, or who expect to do so by July 2017, and who aspire to create independent research and pursue careers as leaders of innovation.
While we will consider applications in all areas of our engineering programs, preference will be given for the 17-18 academic year in the fields of fluids and thermal sciences, and mechanics of solids.
