The Corinth Rift in Greece is one of the most active extensional regions in the Mediterranean area (Fig. 1). The Corinth Rift Laboratory project (CRL, http://crlab.eu) is based on the cooperation of various european institutions that merge their efforts to study fault mechanics and related hazards in this natural laboratory where numerous continuous observations are made. The present rift is asymmetric and deformation is very localized.

Research Associate in Clean Steel Processing

Fixed term appointment for 36 months

The Department of Materials at Imperial College London wishes to appoint a Research Associate to explore the electropulsing-assisted clean steel processing science and technology. The project is funded by EPSRC for 36 months, and is associated with TATA Steel UK Technology Centres 

Ph.D. studentships are available in the Department of Mechanical & Manufacturing
Engineering at the University of Manitoba, Canada. The research projects involve the
development of numerical modelling and parallel computer codes for studying
turbulent heat, mass and fluid flows within an environment with
complex geometries.



Successful candidates should have experience and/or interest in the following areas:
turbulence theory, LES, RANS, DNS, numerical algorithms, FORTRAN 90/95 and C

There is an opening for a research professor position in Advanced Engineering Mechanics Lab at KAIST, Daejeon, South Korea.
