The Cornell Engineered Living Materials Institute (ELMI) is seeking applicants for postdoctoral fellowships. Fellows will work with faculty affiliates to pursue their own original proposed research that aligns with ELMI objectives. 

The Advanced Materials and Manufacturing group at Cornell is seeking PhD student applicants for fall 2022 in the Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, and Theoretical and Applied Mechanics fields. Collectively, our research spans polymers, metals, ceramics, and composites; synthetic and natural materials; and computation, theory, experiments, synthesis, and additive manufacturing.

A postdoctoral position on soft material ionotronics is available in the Silberstein lab (silbersteinlab.com) to start in late summer/early fall of 2020. Expertise in electrochemistry and/or continuum mechanics is desirable. The ideal candidate will also be familiar with polyelectrolytes, gels, and/or ionomers.
