A fully funded PhD position in close collaboration with the manufacturing industry is immediately available in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at École de Technologie Saupérieure, Montréal, Canada.  
 
The selected candidate is required to:
- have B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Mechanical Engineering – Solid Mechanics,
- be talented, highly motivated, responsible, organized, and creative,
- have a strong background in Finite Element Method (FEM),
- have solid knowledge about deformation (stress-strain) analysis,

PhD opening at UCLA

There is a PhD opening in the Mechanics of Soft Materials Lab (https://www.msm.seas.ucla.edu/) in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at the University of California, Los Angeles. The opening is to be filled in 2021 fall, 2022 winter or 2022 fall quarter. The successful candidate is expected to work on modeling, simulations, and experiments of soft materials.
