The Fourth International Conference on Damage Mechanics, ICDM4, will be held at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, on May 15th-18th, 2023. The abstract submission will be due on December 15th, 2022. Please consider submitting an abstract using the templates (https://lnkd.in/gBEW8SKq). If you submitted an abstract in 2019, you would need to resubmit it before the deadline.

This is the invitation to the Workshop on Computational Fatigue Analysis 2022, which is held on the important topic of Vibration Fatigue Analysis this year. Key researchers in this topic in Europe - Denis Benasciutti, Adam Nieslony, Filippo Cianetti, Janko Slavič and Massimiliano Palmieri - will summarize their knowledge and experience to the expert audience. The event takes place in few weeks, between November 14 and 16 in Prague, Czechia. If you find this location too far away from your workplace, you can use the on-line mode of the attendance.

Applied Mechanics Division of ASME will celebrate its traditional awards banquet on Nov 1 (Tuesday) during IMECE 2022. This year’s banquet is more special than other years. In addition to the regular awards related to AMD, this year two ASME medals, Melville medal and ASME Honorary member will be recognized.
