PhD position in design and optimisation of additively manufactured lightweight aerospace structures at University of Canterbury, New Zealand

Submitted by Stephen_Daynes on

Additive manufacturing is an exciting technology that seeing accelerated industry adoption. At the Department of Mechanical Engineering, University of Canterbury we have established a modern 3D facility that is well equipped with printers and 3D scanning equipment. Although additive manufacture is finding applications in many industries, its full potential will be unrealised if parts are not optimised to take advantage of the new design freedoms available.
