How to plot the Amplitude?

 hi



i used an Amplitude keyword in ABAQUS  and wanna plot it.



The keyword is *Amplitude, Definition=Bubble  (must be invoked in Keyword environment and is not available in CAE)



ABAQUS has built-in mechanical model  to simulate the radius and depth of bubble.



i need the two mentioned output data (radius and depth).

i checked that files after analyse but there is not any data about bubble simulation

Unsure problem of compression results (contour plot problem)

Greetings, 

 

the attachement was showed the compression results of the model, from the previous same testing of abaqus, it shows the EXPANSION of the model at the middle part, but in this time, the attachment shows the EXTRACTION in the below part. In the general results, it suppose give the answer with the expansion of the model right??? i try to run back the previous testing but it show the extraction now.what the problem exactly?

 

What is HAPPENING with the posts after a while ?

I noticed that some of the posts don't open after a short while , even some of my recent ones , and the error on the page is : no data received

 

what happens to the files ? are they removed by admins ? without notification ?  as far as I think , there was no problem with mine !!

Urgent help - Contact modelling in Abaqus

Dear all

I urgently need the answer to my question. I am modelling a clapping or contact between two surfaces similar to a crack.

I have used abaqus : 1-tangential : frictionless  2-Hard contact

I wanna know what moelling approach does abaqus use for above situation ?

Does abaqsu use hertzian contac ? bilinear stiffness or what ?

ABAQUS different nodal temperatures obtained by thermal stress analysis from those imported.

Hi ABAQUS experts,

  I am working on thermal stress analysis using ABAQUS in sequential order. I found that nodal temperatures resulting from stress analysis are different from those imported. I thought that the stress analysis procedure does not affect thermal analysis. 

Can anybody explain the methodology utilized in sequentially coupled thermal stress analysis in ABAQUS? Many thanks.
