Hi all,
I've been writing a UMAT to implement 3D Hashin Criteria for progressive failure analysis of composite materials. However, when I tried to get the .obj and .dll files to execute the subroutine on different computers, I get the following error:
Setting environment for using Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 x64 cross tools.
Syntax:
ifortvars.bat <arch> [vs]
<arch> must be is one of the following
ia32 : Set up for IA-32 host and target
A verification was carried out on abaqus Explicit with command prompt. the following file was generated
Dear colleages,
I've been trying to solve this issue for some weeks but I haven't found yet the appropiate way to do it. I'll describe my problem:
I'm using an indenter to apply a scratch on the surface of a material and thus forming a groove on it. After this, I want to apply a second scratch at the bottom of groove produced by the first scratch with a new indenter which is 20 times smaller. The geometry is in 3D and the job is run in Explicit.
Hello, colleagues!
Could anybody help me with the problem? How to convert nanoindentation data (force - penetration depth) into stress-strain curves? Is there any method that allows to make such a conversion if Berkovich indenter was used?
Thank You!
Best regards,
Loginov Pavel (NUST MISIS engineer)
hello.
i am new user of abaqus.
i want model a column under cyclic loading.
i want define plasticity parameters in properties material abaqus.
i cant obtain compressive and tensile behavior for my concrete.
Compressive Strength of Cylindrical Concrete is : 6060 psi
how can i obtain yield stress and inelastic strain?(and tensile)
can you calculate for me?
and what about this parameters:
Hello everybody,
in hyperelastic material models incompressibility is normally realised through Lagrange multipliers. But i can't find any instruction, whether i have to code that multiplier in a routine e.g. of type UHYPER, UANISOHYPER_INV or UANISOHYPER_STRAIN! The only instruction is on incompressibility (and hybrid element) flags, that have to be set, cf. Abaqus User Subroutines Reference Manual 1.1.20, 21 and 37.
Hello,
I have spent two weeks trying to modify the local 1 and 2 directions for the 3D cohesive element.
In the documentation, it has been stated that the directions are defined by the standard Abaqus convention, however they can be modified by using a local orientation.
When I create an orientation either through coordinates, or offset to nodes; the cohesive elements will not use X and Y directions as their directions in the integration points. They use the standard abaqus orientatiom even if the user created orientation is stated under the cohesive section.
Hello everybody,
Hello everybody,
i try to re-implement the anisotropic hyperelastic material of Holzapfel-Gasser-Ogden form already included in Abaqus (cf. Analysis User's Manual 22.5.3).
After successfully debugging the subroutine (Uanisohyper_Inv), i had some serious convergence problems, anyhow. My one-element test modelsdidn't even deform a bit.
