Internal strain energy and resonant/natural frequency: inversely correlated?

Hello all,
Dear fellows,
I am performing quasi-static analysis on ABAQUS/Explicit and I would like to know how one can change the number of time frames used in calculation. It is my understanding that the default value is 20 frames, but I would like to increase this number, if possible.
Does anyone know how to do this?
Thanks for any input in advance.
Cheers.
I am try to make a glass fiber compoite material if any one know how to make the model& help to complete my project
Hi everyone,
Currently I am working with nonlinear static pushdown analysis in SAP 2000. I understand that when the analysis gives a warning 'unable to find a solution at step 20' means that the assigned hinges are compete to unload i.e where one hinges requires the applied load to increase while the other requires the load to decrease.
My question is, how are we going to overcome this warning?..Is there any better solution for this?
Looking forward for anyone to reply.
Best Regards,
Hazrina Mansor
Can anyone recommend books or papers that use RBF in meshless method? I will like to know more about how to use RBF in meshless methods to solve PDE. Matlab code on this subject will also be appreciated.
I am doing numerical simulation of bond behavior between concrete and reinforcement bar. I have to choose between two software, namely, ABAQUS and LS-DYNA. Can anybody suggest which software would be better for the simulation work?
Good day. I need to add a feature to create submodel in my script. The shape of submodel is parallepiped and I want to find the simplest way to do this. I have read Scripting Users Manual but I can't understand how to remove unused parts of the model. Please I need your help. Thanks
Hello there,
I am currently trying to model a cold-formed steel beam experiment, where load is applied through displacement control. I thought using ABAQUS/Explicit and perform a quasi-static analysis would be a good idea.
However, I have found an error I have not yet been able to overcome, and the results are not as I expected.

How reliable is ABAQUS 6.9 in solving STRESS INTENSITY FACTORS for plate with multiple crack
