ANSYS TUTORIAL FOR ANALYSING LAMINATED COMPOSITE BEAM

Any one help me how to analyse the laminated composite beam using ansys....Is there any ansys tutorial available ?????...

If you want to model the laminated beams using beam theories, first you need to carry out a cross-sectional analysis, using a tool like VABS ,  to get the beam constants.

Hey guys I am working on a project which is fatigue analysis of a composite beam.The beam is composed of 7 layers which are stainless steel,pzt and epoxy.It is a laminated beam.The beam is symmetric.The dimensions of stainless steel is:length=254mm,width=25.4mm,thickness=0.381mm.epoxy:length=48.4mm,thickness=0.0254mm,width=25mm.PZT:length=46mm,width=20.6mm,thickness=0.254mm. The layer configuration is like that:1.epoxy(bottom)2.PZT3.epoxy4.stainless steel(middle)5.epoxy6.PZT7.epoxy(top). The stiffness is isothropic for all of them.E=212 GPa for stainless steel;E=67Gpa for PZT and E=2.5GPa for epoxy.The densities are such that:p=7850 kg/m^3 for stainless steel.p=7700kg/m^3 for PZT.p=2150kg/m^3 for epoxy. Poisson's ratio=0.3 for all of them. I tried using VM144 and 2D models but my models gave me errors for bending.I have a force of F=1.0536617N at the tip of the stainless steel and the total composite is fixed at the other end(Cantilever beam).I would like to make the model,stress analysis and modal analysis before fatigue analysis.If anyone had good knowledge I would be grateful for any help or directions.
