How to use solid46 for tapered laminated plates in ANSYS?

_{Hello everyone,}

_{I want to apply solid46 element for a variable-thickness laminated plate in ANSYS. The plate is composed of 15 layers and the three top laminas shape the tapering edge only.}

_{I have attached a picture of plate cross-section. However I have to mesh plate thickness other than its width for
obtaining more accurate results.}

_{I have this question:}

_{Is it possible to use solid46 for this plate and such discretization? If yes how?}

_{I know either that solid46 has the ability to model multi-thickness laminated plates but I’m not sure it can do
what I’m concerned.}

_{I’ll appreciate anyone who can help.}
