Multi-scale material design and simulation add-in tool - Multiscale.Sim 2022R2 version released

Multiscale.Sim 2022R2 version is now available globally.

Multiscale.Sim is an add-in tool for the Ansys Workbench environment (it's also compatible with Ansys Mechanical APDL). It can help to predict materials behavior using virtual material testing without having to rely on costly and time-consuming physical testing all the time. The software includes a templates library to easily create microstructure of materials. It's available in English and Japanese UI.

The Multiscale Modeling of Materials and Machine Learning Laboratory (M4L Lab: https://www.m4l-lab.com/) at Villanova University is looking for two Ph.D. students. Open Ph.D. position, solid mechanics, starting in Spring 2024

Our group in the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering at New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) is working on a range of problems, involving mechanics and physics of 2D materials, soft materials and biological systems. We employ methods of continuum mechanics, mathematics, statistical physics and atomistic simulations to explore the mechanics of 2D materials, electromechanical coupling in soft materials, as well as physical mechanisms underlying the interface of nanomaterials and biology.

Post-doctoral Fellow Position in Solid Mechanics
