Faculty Positions in Mechanical Engineering at Boston University

The Boston University Department of Mechanical Engineering anticipates two openings for tenure-track junior faculty positions, pending approval by the Provost. We welcome applications from all Emerging Areas of Mechanical Engineering, including, but not limited to: energy: sustainability and resource management; robotics and control: micro and nanoscale; and advanced materials: smart fabrics and textiles.

Faculty Position in Mechanical Engineering at Boston University

The Department of Mechanical Engineering at Boston University invites applicants for a tenure-track faculty position in biomechanics, to begin Fall 2016. This position is at the level of Assistant Professor.   The department seeks to build upon its core strength in mechanical engineering as well as its collaborative research areas in mechanics of biological materials and soft materials.

Appointment will be at the rank of assistant, associate or full professor. Exceptionally qualified candidates may also be eligible for a named professor appointment.
