Ph.D. positions are available at the Multiscale Material Modeling Lab at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. The Ph.D. students will develop and use tools such as machine learning, finite elements, and molecular dynamics to study the mechanical properties of materials. PhD opening at UCLA

The Mechanics of Soft Materials Lab (https://www.msm.seas.ucla.edu/) at UCLA has a PhD opening to be filled in 2023 fall. The successful candidate is expected to work on modeling, simulations, and experiments of soft materials, soft tissue and soft machines. The ideal candidates will be highly motivated with a strong background in solid mechanics and computation, and be fluent in spoken and written English.
