I try to insert a concentrated mass into a model and i try to distribute it with a distribuiting coupling. The problem is that the analysis don't see the concentrated mass. Can somebody tell me how insert a *mass in abaqus using hypermesh as preprocessor?

i'm analysing the rc beam by using ansys APDL software

span = 2000mm

cross section = 150 x 300 mm

my question is HOW TO MESH THE CONCRETE VOLUME AND REINFORCEMENT (BOTH)

please help me on selection of enrichment function for modeling of hole
in XFEM and how to added the additional degree of freedom to the
enrichment nodes and also on implementation of XFEM please help me
