The Newton International Fellowship scheme is for non-UK scientists who are at an early stage of their research career and wish to conduct research in the UK.
I am pursuing a postdoctoral position of solid mechanics/ biomechanics. I will defend my doctoral thesis at the end of this December. During my PHD the mechanism of cell adhesion/migration is my major reseach. I also investigate Hydrophobic surface and biomaterial such as bone and sea shell as an assistant.
As part of the EPSRC project entitled 'Innovative photomechanical approaches in identification of the dynamic mechanical behaviour of materials', a PhD position is still open to EU/UK applicants.
