I have been stuck on this for a couple of days now. Could anyone please point out as to what am I doing wrong ?
I have seen the same derivation for the rate of work done, in the book by holzapfel but it is not in index notation.

can we say that initial tangent modulus and secant modulus can be considered as upper bound and lower bound limits for uniaxial compressive stress strain curve of concrete?
If so can u show me the literature proof for that?

Does anybody know how to get the displacement values at points along the upper and lower surface of an edge crack and the distance, r. There are no nodes on the cracked surfaces as the crack cuts through the middle of the element.
