I use the meshless Galerkin method for 3D simulation of plate movement. This method requires the volume integration over a test domain. Could somebody help me with the volume integration? I wonder if there are standard or open source algorithms that can be used for this problem.

I have to model adhesive with viscoplastic beahviour in Ansys. But before that, I need to find its parameters through experiments.
Do you think that Anand model can be successfully applied for adhesives? Or anyone can suggest some better model?
I can find ample of litearture for solder alloys where Anand model has been validated well but there are very few literatures available for constitutive relation for adhesives.
I will really appreciate if someone can provide me the link to good references regarding this.

I'm trying to model indentation of a viscoelastic material in Abaqus.
I have (1) stress-relaxation curves for the material and (2) force-displacement curves for the material from a real indentation experiment.
From this I can readily calculate the elastic modulus (infinite) and the elastic modulus (instantaneous) for the material.
I'd like to fit a Prony series based on this data that I can enter into Abaqus to model the material.
How would I go about fitting the Prony series from the force-displacement and stress-relaxation curves?

I currently using Abaqus/CAE 6.8. I currently doing my final year
project about indentation test on double layer composite material. The
top layer of the material is Pasta (elastic) and bottom layer is Gel
(hyperelastic). I manage to simulate the model and completed the
process. The stress of the Gel does not change as it undergoes
deformation. As shown in the clip i attached. Any idea to solve this
problem? Any suggestion is welcomed.. Thanks

I am trying to perform a prestresssed modal analysis on a beam , but the results are the same as the modal analysis of the beam without the static force.
Idid static analysis with prestress ON ,EXIT solution , reopen solution, then modal analysis with prestress ON.
Please could anyone help me or show me the right way to do prestressed modal analysis .

I am using Abaqus explicit to simulate a simple compression test on a concrete cube. The cube's bottom face is fixed, and the compression is given by giving a displacement to the top face. In order to simulate concrete material I'm using the damaged plasticity model.
