seismic analysis of dam-reservoir system

Submitted by a.salajegheh on

Hi all

I am working on sesmic analysis of dam-reservoir interaction and I used ADINA software to analysis the coupled system. I have used potential based fluid elements to define fluid medium. but the coupled dynamic model does not provide the correct answers. I would appricciate if any of you introduce me some one who is familiar with dynamic reservoir-structure modeling in ADINA.

Hi,

I am looking for a good citation (or perhaps a detailed explaination) on the difference between material co-ordinate and eulerian co-ordinate system. Please treat me a beginner in the field of continuum mechanics. Thanks for your help in advance.

Hello,
everyone!

I’m trying
to simulate different types of acoustic waves in linear anisotropic crystal in
order to measure their propagation speed (phase speed), and compare it with
experimental data.

Build a complex geometry in 3D Euler solver

Submitted by Husam on

Hi every one

I'm new here and I hope to help me

I have some problem in ansys autodyn

I want to know how can I creat a complex geometry in 3D multi material Euler solver ,I read help and I found the fill part with lagrange part is way to do this but I can't fill any part.

ِAny body can help me.

Hi All

I'm a bioengineering PhD student, I just started reading on the finite elasticity theory and have a question regarding to the governing equation.

As I understand, Cauchy's first law of motion is the governing equation for finite elasticity. For steady-state (no acceleration), the equation is:

dσ/dx=F

Hello

I am trying to model tensile test simulation of a AL7075 and i have real strain-stress curve of material.  To complete ductile damage simulation modelling  in ABAQUS ductile damage material specifications are required. If anyone can share  an tensile test simulation inp. file ı would be pleased.
