The Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Wyoming invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level in the area of computational materials science, with an emphasis on multi-scale modeling, including atomistic and molecular scale modeling. Special consideration will be given to applicants with expertise in energy-, bio- or high-temperature materials. The successful applicant will be expected to establish an externally funded research program, publish in scholarly journals, mentor graduate students and teach both undergraduate and graduate engineering courses. Minimum qualifications include an earned doctorate in mechanical engineering or closely related engineering field.
