Abaqus Error: The executable C:\SIMULIA\Abaqus\6.9-EF1\exec\standard.exe

aborted with system error code 144.

Please check the .dat, .msg, and .sta files for error messages if the files

exist.  If there are no error messages and you cannot resolve the problem,

please run the command "abaqus job=support information=support" to report and

save your system information.  Use the same command to run Abaqus that you

used when the problem occurred.  Please contact your local Abaqus support

office and send them the input file, the file support.log which you just

created, the executable name, and the error code.

Abaqus/Analysis exited with errors

May i know what the exact problem.. i can succesfully running the UMAT subroutine but in the middle of job running, appearing the abaqus error?

system error code occurs frequently when user subroutine is applied, and how to resolve this problem is still not know exactly. check the followings:

1. a very small number is devived in your code

2. The directory is not a subdirectory of the root directory." This error code may also display as "ERROR_DIR_NOT_ROOT" or as the value 0x90.

3. sometimes the mdel database contains a lot of useless miscellaneous information after being edited many times, save your model as a new one, this may help

4. submit your job via CMD rather than CAE

5.running with an alternate version of software ,or some other machines.

but I am not sure if any of the above can help to solve this troublesome problem.

Hello

errors 14x have been discussed in the ABAQUS mailing list

http://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/Abaqus/info

Search the archive.

The error is quite common when using subroutines and was reported also in one case when using only standard commands.

My advice is to modify the initial, maximum and minimum time increment. Try increasing and decreasing. This is a workaround, though not an explanation.

Good luck
