I submitted my model’s job in
abaqus, it completed successfully without any warning and error, but in
visualization modulus there is no stress in elements, so what is the
problem?
For beams, the stresses are calculated using the equations we studied in basic mechanics of materials. For general section, abaqus doesn't know where are section points, where stresses are calculated by abaqus. For any other section, there are predefined section points, but for general section it is not. Therefore, you need to specify, explicitly, section points in local coordiante system. It is accessesible in section definition through cae, and *section points in input file.

The world started with 0, is progressing with 0, but doesn't want 0.
You can define section points for any section beam section profile. Check abaqus analysis manual -> Elements -> Structural Elements -> Beam Elements -> Using General Beam Section .....
Alternatively, you can check *Section Points in Keyword Manual.

Your Stresses
Hello Wakeful,
Do you believe that your stresses are calculated ?

Beam general section definition
Exactly
I modeled a simple beam; I want to check its stress components and invariants.
I defined
a general beam section for it. When it was submitted there was a warning:
Output
request s is not available for element type b31 unless *section points is
specified as part of the *beam general section definition
So what
is the problem?
Does
it mean I couldn’t use general section for it at all?
Sections points are similar to integration points

which kind of section shape?
Thanks for your guide.
Here I have another question, how I
could define section points for general sections in local coordinate?
Do you mean I should use arbitrary
sections? Because I see we could define a section with its exact section points
just by using arbitrary shape.

stress
Hello Wakeful,
you should assign beam orientation, and check "field output" menu and fill stress's box (checkmark).
it should solve your problem.
