statistics about students in world universities

I am comparing italian universities with Russian ones with US and with Cuban ones. Then I need some figures.



I have been able for example to find that there are about 50% of students-workers in Russia, what about US?

I mean full time workers, not just part time.



But I need to know more about these questions:-

1) how did the number of students in the last 10 years vary?  Increased?

2) how many students are doing economics or management - related subjects?

3) how many students exit the university system before graduation,

failing to complete the cycle?

4) how many students complete the cycle in retard?

5) are there publications by the academy of science, or some other organization, or ONU or NATO, about the general trends of the russian

universities, or the world universities? In general, maybe you have a publication about all these things already there.

I ATTACH HOWEVER SOME FIGURES FROM OECD's REPORT!  I ALSO ATTACH 2 WEB SITES TRANSLATED INTO ENGLISH !!!!

I HAVE ALSO FOUND 2 DOCUMENTS WHICH LOOK VERY GOOD, BUT IN RUSSIAN!!!  IS THERE ANY RUSSIAN MOTHER TONGUE WHO CAN TELL ME IF I HAVE THE ANSWERS TO THE QUESTIONS ABOVE?

Luxembourg, Mexico, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, the Slovak Republic, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, the United Kingdom and the United States.

The Commission of the European Communities takes part in the work of the OECD.





So for Russia????

I have attached statistical reports on 2007 and 2008. Chapters 6 (in

both booklets) have what Prof. Ing. Michele Ciavarella requires on

higher education. Table 6.1 (page 405 in obr.2007(1) and page 363 in

obr2008) contains information on:

1. Number of universities (state, private)

2. Number of accepted students (total, classroom instructions)

3. Number of all students (total, classroom instructions)

4. Number of graduated students (total, classroom instructions)

"Classroom instructions" assume that students take classes during the

day. They do not study on their own without an instructor. So a rough

estimation of those students who both work full time and study is

total number of students minus classroom instructions. But it is very

rough.
