the University of Freiburg (Germany) is currently looking for a new
faculty member in the field of Soft Machines. This is a tenure track
position in the Department of Microsystems Engineering. We are looking
for someone to represent research and teaching in the field of machines
made of soft, deformable materials such as gels, elastomers / liquid
crystalline elastomers (LCEs) and responsive materials.

1. Introduction

On behalf of Texas A&M University & Texas A&M Engineering Experiment Station, we are excited to announce the 2022 Annual Technical Meeting of the Society of Engineering Science that will be held on our campus in College Station, Texas, from October 16-19, 2022.

Applications are invited for a doctoral research position immediately available (also open to Summer 2022, Fall 2022, or Spring 2023) in the Department of Mechanical Engineering or Materials Science Graduate Program at the University of Vermont. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of Prof.

Two-year/three-year Postdoc Fellowships are available at Beihang University, starting either at around June 2022 or at Dec. 2022. Beihang University, also known as Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (BUAA), has always been ranked No. 1 in Aerospace Engineering among all the universities in China. Our research group led by Professor Leiting Dong is seeking talented and motivated candidates to work on the development of state-of-the-art computational methods and their applications on the analysis and design of complex engineering structures.
