Webinar: How Can IntelliSuite v8.7 Benefit MEMS Research and Teaching
IntelliSuite was the first MEMS-specific CAD tool and has been under
development for over 20 years. In this free webinar, understand how this
industry-standard software can help MEMS designers, process engineers,
and professors save time and costs in the development cycle, share their
designs with others, and teach students about MEMS. The webinar will
cover: process development using virtual fabrication tools, etch recipe
development using process simulators, design rule checking and
cross-sectioning tools for MEMS layout, design exploration and
optimization using behavioral and parametric modeling, recent
developments in automated meshing algorithms, discussion of coupled
FEM-BEM solvers for MEMS multiphysics analysis, linking MEMS models to
damage to the adhesive
Hi
I work on the damage to the adhesive.
in a abaqus please ,after viewing the results how to calculate the damage surface of the adhesive (damage rate).
thank you in advance

APDL for moving heat source in welding
Dear all,
Presently I am working on the Controlling the Residual stresses in ARC welding. For this the FEM tools have to use.But while sumulating the model,I have stuck up in modeling FEM by Element birth and Deat and the moving heat source. So plz if anybody is having Case study of moving heat source and Element Brith and death then, its my request to all ,to share it with me..

About beam element in abaqus and ansys
I am interested in using beam element to do a nonlinear static analysis (may need to a dynamic analysis in the future), but have trouble to understand some of the key features of beam element in abaqus or ansys. My goal is to find a beam element (preferably general beam section) with a defined stress resultant yield surface (e.g., P-M-M yield surface). If possible, could also account warping degree of freedom.
