Bulk Viscosity parameter iin Abaqus
Hi,
I am working on a nonlinear contact problem with Abaqus. One of the parts
involved in the complete model is very small and as its behaviour needs to
be studied when it interacts with other parts it is modelled with pretty
smaller elements as compared to other parts in the model. When I do a Dynamic explicit
analysis then the time increment which Abaqus calculates from an Element by
element estimate is of the order 1e-8 due to that very small part. I did
Cyclic loading abaqus
Hi colleague
can you help me to define a cyclic load of 1 kN (120 cycle per min ) in Abaqus?
does it diifrent to use static or dynamic analysis?
Thanks.
Tensors
These notes may serve as a reminder of tensor algebra. The notes supplement the course on advanced elasticity. Several books are listed at the end of the notes.
Update on 17 April. I am now breaking up the notes on tensors, cleaning them up, and posting them as sections on linear algebra.
