Applications are invited for a position as Associate Professor or Tenure Track Assistant Professor at the Department of Chemistry (chem.au.dk) and affiliated with the Aarhus University Center for Integrated Materials Research (iMAT) within the field of Structural Materials Science Using Neutrons. The intended start is spring 2020 or as soon as possible.
Several fully supported Ph.D. positions are open for fall 2019 in the Advanced Hierarchical Materials by Design Lab at Louisiana Tech University on multiscale modeling of additively manufactured parts and processes. During this project, the candidate will have the opportunity to collaborate with NASA research centers, national labs, and different universities across the nation such as MIT and LSU.
The Postdoctoral Scholar is responsible for independent and collaborative development, implementation, and analysis of scientific research in the discipline of computational and experimental biomechanics. Responsibilities include management of all aspects of research related to biomechanical characterization and computer modeling of biological tissue and implants in Vahdati Lab. The research projects include investigation of mechanopathologies of soft and calcified tissue and design of personalized medical devices.
