How to extract plastic strain in Abaqus

Hallo,

i am looking for a python code with which i can extract all the plastic strain components for an element, i.e. PE11, PE22, PE33, PE12, PE13,  and PE23.  To extract the prinicpal strains i have used the follwoing code:

ee = frame.fieldOutputs['PE']

eep1 = ee.getScalarField(MIN_PRINCIPAL)

eep2 = ee.getScalarField(MID_PRINCIPAL)

Needle Insertion Into Soft Tissue

I'm modelling the deformation of a soft tissue under needle insertion, but I'm having difficulties because the data I have is not sufficient. What I need is about the epidural space, elasticity constants, inner and outer radii, etc. Can anyone give me some answers about that.

How to realize the second boundary condition (Neumann boundary) in UEL of ABAQUS

There are higher-order deformation gradients  in the  higher-order deformation theory, in which higher-order stresses are usually  involvded in order to meet conjugating principle. In that way ,higher-order stress boundary conditions (such as Neumanm boundary ) should be applied when solving the partial differential eqution.

I want to know  how to apply this second boundary in UEL of ABAQUS. 

How to simulate bifurcation due to buckling for a simply supported beam using ABAQUS?

I want to capture bifurcation phenomenon observed during buckling for a simply supported beam using ABAQUS simulations.

I have performed linear perturbation analysis to extract mode shapes and critical buckling load. Model consisted of 100, B21 elements.

Then I have modelled a similar beam with imperfection equal to 1st mode shape with amplitude of 1e-8.
