 Please guide me if you know how to create pressure (following load) in Feap 7.5. I use BLOCk command to creat a mesh for a 1/4tube (commands below). Now I would like to introduce internal pressure but it seem to be difficult because manual of Feap for this content is brief.

in ( inp file ) i have a coordinates nodes

i import inp file in abaqus ( form  file-->import-->model  )

nodes come in abaqus but i can not draw a solid from this nodes

i want to draw a solid with this nodes

Hi all,

I'm trying to solve a frame structure in ABAQUS. I'm using 3D beam elements (B31) so that shear and bending stresses may appear. This is ok for an elastic analysis, but I also want to perform a failure analysis of this frame. Therefore, I'm trying to use the "concrete damaged plasticity" material in ABAQUS.  But I've read in the manual I can't use B31 elements with this material.

 Does anyone know how to combine the "concrete damaged plasticity" material in a 3D beam analysis? Any other suggestions?

Section area from a model is neccesary for the macroscopic stress calculation, could it be possible using Abaqus getting it directly?  and how..
