i am sajib,I am very very new ABAQUS user.
i am modeling RCC simply supported BEAM STRENGTHEN IN FLEXURE WITH FRP using ABAQUS.
I HAVE USED S4R FOR FRP,
C3D8R FOR SOLID AND T3D2 AS STEEL
cracked conrete model used,elastic plastic model for steel n elastic model for frp
I have used correct E values.
perfect bond is assumed among FRP,concrete and steel,load is applied through rigid node.
symmertic boundary condition was used.as one forth of the beam was modelled.
static and riks both solution technique was used(seperately),but result is same.beam is more STIFFER then experimental load -deflection curve what can i do?
the analysis is not completed,it goes upto certain time increment and then says convergence is very slow.....exits with error
what may be the solution??
