Dear Colleagues,
The 3rd International Conference on Nonlinear Solid Mechanics (ICoNSoM 2024) will be held on 11-14 June 2024 in Cagliari (Italy).
Within this conference, Francesco D'Annibale, University of L'Aquila - Italy, and myself (Francesco Dal Corso), University of Trento - Italy, are organising the Mini-Symposium "MS-7 Stability and dynamics of structures".
Mini-Symposium "MS-7 Stability and dynamics of structures" description:
The field of structural mechanics is experiencing a second lease on life in the last decade, since the exploitation of the nonlinear response of structures became the new paradigm in the design of reconfigurable, harvesting, and actuation mechanisms.
Our mini-symposium aims to gather experts from the broad field of dynamics and stability of structures.
Contributions on modeling, theoretical, computational, and experimental aspects are welcome.
Topics of the mini-symposium include, but are not limited to:
• Extremely deformable and deployable structures
• Buckling and bifurcation
• Dynamic instabilities
• Aeroelasticity
• Nonlinear and non-smooth dynamics
• Chaotic Systems
• Stochastic dynamics
• Fluid-Soil-Structure Interactions
The abstract submission is open until April 10th, 2024.
Further information about abstract submission are available at http://www.memocsevents.eu/iconsom2024/abstract-submission/
We are looking forward to meet you in Cagliari soon.
