- Task: to develop and validate computational models of repair of composite wind turbine blades, for the evaluation of post-repair lifetime, optimizing the repair and curing conditions, including:
- development of computational models of repair of wind turbine blades, using thermal and light radiation curing,
- evaluation of overall and post-repair life time of wind turbine blades, using finite element software Abaqus and Python programming language.
- analysis of the influence and materials defects on the lifetime and exploitation of wind turbine blades.
Qualifications
- PhD. degree in materials science, applied mechanics, mechanics, mechanical engineering or related disciplines,
- experience in finite element simulations (ABAQUS) as well as programming in a higher-level language (Python, including Numpy package).
- Experience in preparing scientific publications in high level international journals.
