master position on modeling of laser texturing

Dear all,

A master position is open at University of Technology of Belfort-MontBéliard in France. The master projet is essentially focused on the modeling of the interaction between the laser and metals in order to predict surface morphology. 

The modeling has to account for the different physical phenomenon involved during the interaction. Therefore, comparison between experimental database and numerical results is expected.

We are looking for ambitious and autonomous students having preference for modeling and skills on theoritical and numerical simulations. he/she has to be familiar with finite element and cfd codes, preferably Comsol multiphysics.
