Postdoc position in design and 3D printing of polymer composites at CU Denver

Submitted by Kai Yu on

An immediate postdoctoral position in the design and 3D printing of fiber-reinforced polymer composites is available in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at University of Colorado Denver. The project aims to develop an integrated workflow of composite materials, including optimization design, 3D printing, and application insertion.

The research will focus on the 3D printing of composites using different platforms, including our recently purchased Epson six-axis robotic arm, as well as related mechanical characterizations. The candidate is also expected to be interested in computational analysis and design.

The postdoc will work with Prof. Martin Dunn (Dean) and me. If you are interested, please send us your resume to martin.dunn [at] ucdenver.edu (martin[dot]dunn[at]ucdenver[dot]edu) and kai.2.yu [at] ucdenver.edu (kai[dot]2[dot]yu[at]ucdenver[dot]edu).
