Applicants are invited to apply for an immediate Postdoc position in our group at Sabanci University, Istanbul in the field of 3D/4D printing of continuous fiber-reinforced polymers.
Position requirements:
- M.Sc./Ph.D in Mechanical Engineering, chemical engineering, Polymer engineering
-Knowledge and experience with Extrusion 3D printing and design/modification of printer parts
-Knowledge and experience with Polymer chemistry (synthesizing of polymers is a plus)
-Experience in blending of polymers with other polymers or additive nanoparticles,
-Experience and Knowledge in polymer characterization tests (TGA, DSC, NMR, DMA, TDMA, Tensile and bending test,...)
- Experience in constitutive modeling of polymer material at large deformation (experience with shape memory polymers is a plus)
-Knowledge and experience about design/simulation/test of Auxetic structures and metamaterials is a plus
- Experience in Multi-physics simulation (Thermal-mechanical-electrical) is a plus
-Experience in Programming and path planning is a plus
