Buckling of all side clamped plates

Submitted by Kiran Mc on

Hello ,  I have a small query. I'm unable to figure out the proper boundary condition to be assigned for an all side clamped plate under uni-axial and bi-axial buckling load. The plate is assumed to be under a pre-buckling uniform stress distribution over the laminate thickness.

the boundary condition in some research papers are given as
condition 1: u=v=w=thetaX=thetaY=0 @ X=0,a and Y=0,b
condition 2: under uniaxial  u=w=thetaX=thetaY=0 @ X=0,a and Y=0,b
                  under bi-axial   v=w=thetaX=thetaY=0 @ X=0,a and  u=w=thetaX=thetaY=0 @  Y=0,b
which of the above mentioned boundary condition do suit for call side clamped plates?

Another perception of mine is, if we choose condition 1 as the boundary restraint, the edges will nit be able to move in x- and y- direction then how buckling is feasible?
