Looking for Postdoctoral Position

Submitted by Likun Tan on

Dear imechanica members,

My name is Likun and I am posting this blog in searching for postdoctoral positions in Computational Solid Mechanics.

I obtained Ph.D. in Computational Mechanics at Carnegie Mellon University. My thesis work involves developing multiscale method for retrieving slow-time scale behavior from molecular dynamics.

I also have several years' research experience in multiscale analysis and phase-field modeling of hysteresitic behaviror in active materials.

With solid background in mechanics, applied mathematics and modeling, I am interested in continuing my research in the general field of computational solid mechanics.

I would very much appreciate your time.

Sincerely,

Likun

Hi Likun,

I am looking for a postdoc position too :) and here is some information about posdoc positions:

If you want to go to Spain, there is an open call for researchers who deal with micro-scale modelling at IMDEA Institut of Materials in Madrid, here is the link:   http://www.materials.imdea.org/sites/default/files/pdf_docs/site/open-p…

Another alternative is www.jobs.ac.uk for positions in UK: look under Engineering and Technolgy and then Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering...etc. There is quite a lot of positions related to micro-scale modelling and computational mechanics.

Good luck!
