Hiya.
I want to run example paramtrized input files on Abaqus. I do this by importing it as a model. However, when i do this, an error message comes up saying:
WARNING: The input file contains one or more data items which have been parameterized. Parameterized input files can not yet be imported into Abaqus/CAE. This occurred while scanning input file for parameterized data. The input file will not be imported.
I really need to overcome this problem. Is there anyone out there that can help?
use ABAQUS command window
Try to type "abaqus job=your input file name" to run your job in ABAQUS command DOS window. ABAQUS CAE cannot take parameterized input file.

Hi,
If you want to import the parametrised file in Abaqus CAE, you can open the file in a text editor and replace the parametrised variable names with their values. Then Abaqus CAE should be able to import the inp file.
