modelling a reinforced concrete slab using abaqus

can anyone help me how to model a reinforced concrete slab using ABAQUS software?

Hi,

You can model composite in different ways in abacus. You can draw a square or rectangle. Then partition it (for example if you have only matrix and reinforcement) in number of pairs. Then assign your material property. Since I didn’t get your question clearly, I can’t explain in details.

                                  I am fresher to ABAQUS software.I require this as a part of my project work in continously reinforced pavement.

I want to model the reinforced concrete slab of say 3X3 m dimension.for that how can embedd the reinforcement and how can i provide a specific bond slip value between concrete and reinforcement.how come it is possible to partition the slab into different section then assign the material properties as you said ? please clarify that . waiting for your valuable reply in anxiety!!!!! please send me any tutorial if u have related to this topic.
