Any one knows the error in XFEM: std_findcutoneedge3d8_xfem

 Hey everyone,



I am currently working on the 3D indentation on the diamond coated insert by using ABAQUS 6.11, the elastic perfect diamond coating under the indenter is meshed with the elements of C3D8,  and XFEM is used in the diamond coating to simulate the cracks in the coating, the elastic-plastic substrate is WC-Co, also meshed with C3D8. A surface based cohesive interaction is defined between the coating and substrate to simulate the coating delamination. During loading process, the job exited at the load displacement of 1.44 micro, with the following error message:

"The system error in std_findcutoneedge3d8_xfem -- nodal level set values might not be correct for element 3798 instance coating-1".



If any one ever met the problem or knows how to deal with it, please let me know, any suggestions will be appreciated.
