adding something like a filler material in abaqus

hello

i have this model on Abaqus "in the attached photo" and i want to add a solid material in the gaps between those cubes and assign material properties for it

how can i do it ?

is there a function in abaqus which can do that

1 Create a new solid cube large enough to envelope all these cubes.

2 Create its instance and place it overlapping the other cubes.

3 In the assembly module, use Instance > Merge/Cut option and you shall have a new part having the shape of those gaps.
